What Data Can I See Using the Public Data Feature for YouTube?

See which YouTube metrics are available with Measure Studio's public data feature.

Written by Nicole Soria

With Measure Studio's YouTube public data, you can pull insights from any public YouTube channel, no login or connection required. Track performance at both the video and channel level using metrics YouTube makes publicly available.

To connect a channel for public data tracking without authentication, see How to Connect a Public Account in Measure Studio.

Post Level Metrics

For each YouTube video or Short, Measure Studio tracks:

  • Views – Total

  • Engagement Rate – Total

  • Total Engagements – Total

  • Comments – Total

  • Likes – Total

Account Level Metrics

At the channel level, Measure Studio tracks the same engagement metrics plus content mix:

  • Views – Total

  • Engagement Rate – Total

  • Total Engagements – Total

  • Comments – Total

  • Likes – Total

  • New Posts – Total

  • New Video Posts – Total

  • New Shorts – Total

New Posts is the combined count of uploads across the channel. New Video Posts and New Shorts break that same count out by format.
