To add a new social account to your Measure Studio profile, click your name in the lower-left corner to open the menu, then select “Manage Social Accounts.”

Next, click “+ Add Account” and choose whether you’d like to connect an owned, public, or ad account.

Next, select the social media platform you’d like to connect, then follow the authentication prompts to complete the connection.

After you've added your social account, it will show as "Syncing" for a few minutes while the data is being pulled into the system.

Please note the following account requirements:

  • Facebook Pages must be published for us to collect data. If they are currently unpublished, we will be unable to collect posts and their data.

  • Instagram accounts must be upgraded to either a Business or Creator account. A Facebook Page link is no longer required — you can now connect Instagram directly. If authenticating directly through Instagram, you may need to enable "Connect future activity" in your Instagram Account Center (Settings → Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Your activity off Meta technologies → Manage future activity).

  • TikTok accounts must be upgraded to Business Accounts. Note that only one TikTok account can be connected at a time per browser session — if you're logged into a different TikTok account in your browser, log out first, then log back in with the account you'd like to connect.

  • Snapchat accounts must have a Public Profile enabled. Note that audience data and reach are only available for the last 90 days.

  • Tracking public accounts: You can also track any public Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook Page without authentication — just select "Public" when adding an account and enter the account URL. This is useful for competitor or influencer tracking. Public accounts may take up to 24 hours to finish syncing.
