Welcome to MediaMarkt Cloud! MediaMarkt Cloud is a cloud service powered by Jottacloud. Jottacloud is a Norwegian cloud service with European privacy, making it a safe and secure cloud option.
MediaMarkt Cloud has no device limit! So make sure you back up all your tablets, computers and mobiles with us.
Quick guide to get started
MediaMarkt Cloud have apps for phone, tablet and computer. To get the most out of our cloud service, we recommend you download the apps to all your devices. It is the apps that provides automatic backup.

1. Download and install app on your phone and/or tablet
After downloading the app to your phone and/or tablet you need to log in to your account. Then you will have to install the app and set your preferences.
Make sure to allow the app access to your photos! Without this permission MediaMarkt Cloud cannot backup your photos and videos.
We also recommend turning on Location services for the app. This allows the app to upload photos and videos in the background, even when the app is not opened. This way you will always know your new photos and videos are uploaded to MediaMarkt Cloud.
Lastly, we recommend turning on notifications. We will only inform you about important updates to your subscription!
2. Download and install the app on your computer
After downloading the app to your computer, you need to log in to your account. After logging in you will need to install the app and set your preferences.
The app does not automatically back up your entire computer, you need to select what folders to back up. The app will automatically suggest folders to backup from your computer (the most normal ones). You can of course edit these during the installation process or later.
Once you have installed the app, MediaMarkt Cloud have automatically created a local folder on your computer, named "MediaMarkt Cloud". This is the sync-folder. Folders inside the sync folder can be shared with your friends and colleagues

3. Go to the web page
Go to the web page for your country and log in:
MediaMarkt Clouds web page will show you all backed up and synced files from the devices you have downloaded our app too. This means that you can see photos from your phone and backed up files form your computer here on the web page.
You can also manually upload new files and photos on the webpage, create albums and folders. The new files will appear in the app on your devices.
On MediaMarkt Clouds web page you also have access to Account settings. here you can for example activate 2-factor authentication for an extra layer of security on your account.
Lastly, the web page also has an Archive. The archive works just as a physical archive. Got an old computer with content you want to store somewhere? Upload it to the archive! Note that the archive is never updated automatically, so don’t use it for backup.
