Instructions on downloading the Huma app
Once you've downloaded Huma and have registered for a free account, you are now ready to use Huma.
Huma is made up of three key sections, Home, Learn and Profile.
(1) Home
Upon opening the Huma app, you are presented with the 'Home' screen. The Home screen allows you to monitor and manage all your key health vitals. Vitals are presented on the Home screen as a series of interactive tiles called 'Modules'.
(Home screen)
Modules
Modules can take the form of questionnaires, symptom reports or key health vitals such as temperature, blood pressure, resting heart rate etc.
Module Face
Each Module displays a glanceable summary of information.
(Temperature module)
(1) The Module title makes it clear as to the focus of a given module i.e. is it a questionnaire, symptom report or a key health vital such as temperature, resting heart rate, blood pressure etc
(2) Depending on the module, you will also see the last recorded key health vital value or the number of symptom reports or questionnaires submitted to date
(3) The recording criteria or frequency at which you need to enter data per given module
(4) The date and time of your last entry will be displayed
(5) The ‘Add' button allows you to quickly submit a symptom report, questionnaire or enter key health vital
(6) The 'Seen' status will appear after a clinician has reviewed a particular health vital, symptom report or questionnaire
(Note: Please be aware that the vitals or modules you see within your view of Huma have been tailored for you by your care team based on your condition(s). You may have a friend or family member also using Huma, with access to a different set of vitals or modules.)
Module Overview Screen
Tapping on a module reveals the 'Module overview screen'. Here you can see further information regarding the vital as well as accessing historic health data.
Within the Module overview screen, you will see either a summary of previous entries, a symptom report or questionnaire. In the case of vitals such as temperature, weight and blood pressure, an average reading as well as a graph to show progress over time will be seen.
(Module Overview Screen)
Schedule
'Schedule', details the recording criteria or frequency at which you need to submit a symptom report, questionnaire or record a key health vital.
Reminders
There is also the opportunity to set 'Reminders'. You can set up a reminder to submit a symptom report, questionnaire or to enter a vital. For more information on Reminders, click here.
