There are a number of reasons as to why you may not be able to download Huma for Android.
Here are a few solutions you may want to employ as part of your trouble shooting process.
Restart your phone: Turn your Android phone off and back on then try to download Huma from the Google Play App Store
Poor internet connection?: Check that you have a working and stable, internet connection (#TIP: Try downloading Huma on 4G or 5G if your Wi-Fi / internet connection is poor)
Outdated version of Android?: Check what version of Android your smartphone is running. It is possible that you are running a version of Android that is not supported by Huma. Update to the latest version of Android - Huma supports Android 8.0 (Oreo) and upwards. To find out what version of Android you have, click here
Lack of storage space?: You may have insufficient space on your phone to download and install the Huma app (#TIP: Free up space by deleting unused apps to be able to download Huma)
Google Play App cache + data: A possible fix, could be to clear your Google Play App cache and data. For more information on how to do this, click here
Download Huma in 'Safe Mode': You can try to download Huma for Android whilst in Safe Mode. Enter Safe Mode on your device, and try to download Huma from the Google Play App Store. If successful, restart your phone as normal (i.e. not in Safe Mode) and see if you can use the Huma app. For more information on 'safe mode' click here
App store Country/Region restrictions: It's possible the patient is not able to download the app due to country / region restrictions. Please ask the patient to check the country / region the app store they are using is based in. Patients must have access to the UAE app store
The above solutions should help in trying to download Huma for Android.
If however, the patient is still unable to download Huma, please inform the patient's Mediclinic clinician first and then secondly contact Huma customer support via Email (support@huma.com).
