Clinicians can have access to demo versions of the Huma Patient App and Clinician Portal. This can only be authorised by a member of the Huma Customer Success team or the Mediclinic Support Team.
Note, Huma Demo products do not contain real patient data.
See below for detailed instructions and guidance on how to get set up.
1. Installing the Demo Huma patient app
On iPhone (iOS 13.0 onwards)
From your iPhone, click on the TestFlight app link located in the Email sent to you from Huma or the Mediclinic Support Team
This will lead to the TestFlight website being opened in the Safari web browser on your iPhone
Follow the simple instructions on how to install both TestFlight and the Demo Huma Patient app
Note, the language of the Huma app is based on the language preference of the iPhone i.e. if your phone is set to Arabic, the Huma app will bein Arabic

On Android (Android 8.0 onwards)
From your Android phone, click on the App Center link located in the Email sent to you from Huma or the Mediclinic Support Team
This will lead to the App Center website being opened in the default browser of your Android phone
Tap on ‘Download’
Install the downloaded .apk file by tapping 'Install'
Note, the language of the Huma app is based on the language preference of the iPhone i.e. if your phone is set to Arabic, the Huma app will bein Arabic

Creating a Demo Huma Patient account
Tap on ‘Sign up with unique code’
Select 'United Kingdom - GCP' as the country option
Enter the Patient Activation Code provided to you by Huma or the Mediclinic Support Team
Enter a First and Last name
Choose to create an account using an ‘Email address’ only (Note: You will need to use your mobile phone number when creating a Clinician account so please do not sign up for a patient account with a phone number. In addition, the Email address you use to create a Huma Patient account cannot be used to create a Huma Clinician account)
After submitting your details, enter the Verification Code you received from Huma via Email
Once you've entered the verification code, you should now be logged into the Huma Patient App

2. Creating a Demo Clinician Portal account
Check your inbox for an Email from Huma or from a Mediclinic Support Team Admin, inviting you to ‘Create an account’ (Note, Huma invite Emails expire within 24 hours so please try to create an account as soon as possible!)
Click on the ‘Create account’ button
Enter your first and last name, set a password and click 'Create account'
You will receive a 'Verification email' from Huma
Click 'Verify email' (Note: If clicking on 'Verify email' leads you to the Huma home page instead, 'Right click' the 'Verify email' button, copy the hyperlink and paste into a new browser window to resume verification process)
You will then be prompted to enter a phone number to setup Two Factor Authentication (2FA). Once inputted, Click 'Continue'
You will then receive a one time usage Verification Code via text message. Enter this and click 'Next'
Once you have clicked on 'Next' you will be logged into the Demo Huma Clinician Portal
Remember to bookmark the Demo Huma Clinician Portal for future use. You can access the demo Clinician Portal using your computer’s browser. It’s highly recommended to use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (Note: You cannot access the Huma Clinician portal from a tablet or mobile phone device. Additionally, Support for Internet Explorer is ending in August 2021 by Microsoft)
