At jamie we take your data privacy rights very seriously, and it is a priority at every step of the engineering process.

As a business located in Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the comprehensive data protection law in the European Union (EU).

All your data is encrypted and stored using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithms in transit and rest, and our team is required to go through security training and embrace best practices for data handling.

What happens with your data, and where is it being stored?

The audio recording from your computer is uploaded to a server location in Frankfurt, Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ and then processed on a serverless GPU environment from Replicate. Once the processing is done and your transcript is ready, we delete all audio files permanently.

The transcript of a meeting is stored on a server located in Frankfurt, Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ to make it accessible to users.

After the generation of your transcript, it is further processed via an OpenAI API to generate your meeting notes.

Important: No data is stored at OpenAI and no data is used for training purposes.

The final summary and the transcript are then saved on your local device and a server in Frankfurt, Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ.

Does jamie use your data for training purposes?

Our sole purpose in training jamie is to enhance your user experience, particularly in the domains of speaker identification and recognizing custom words.

By doing so, jamie will remember the name linked to a voice and your acronyms, which is then used for generating your meeting summaries in the future.

Important: The information you provide jamie is exclusively associated with your account. jamie does not engage in the practice of aggregating acquired information or data for cross-utilization among distinct user accounts. Consequently, the personalized custom word list and vocal data are exclusively used to generate meeting summaries specific to your account.

GDPR Seal

As part of our data privacy practices, jamie has appointed an external data protection officer, who carries out yearly audits to ensure our compliance with GDPR laws. We have committed ourselves to constantly comply with these data protection regulations and to keep our documentation up-to-date.

Our partnership with heyData is an extra step in ensuring that your data is secure at jamie. The following certificate is proof of that:
