This article will cover:

Tag Management

To access the tag management for your topic, go to Topic Settings, then to the Tags tab:

Tag Cloud Widget

Choose if you want to display a tag cloud on your topic page. This can help readers to navigate through the content.

If you choose to display it, you can then configure the widget.

Either the most popular tags:

Or select which tags you want to display:

Tags Creation Workflow

Decide how you want tags to be created on the topic page.

They can either be created freely by curators:

Or curators can choose from a predefined list:

Tags in Use in This Topic

Here you can view all tags created in the topic. You can edit and delete a tag from this list, or add a new one if youโ€™ve chosen to use a predefined tag list.

Topic View of the Tags

The tags can also be viewed by clicking on the tag icon on the topic page:

Tagging a Post

Before publication

Tags can be added to the post by selecting an existing tag from the list, or by typing a new one if the option to create tags freely is activated.

After publication:

If you want to add a tag after the post has been published, you can do that by clicking the tag icon under the post and then selecting or creating a tag.

Multi-Topic Publication

With our Enterprise license, you can choose to publish your post in several topics at the same time. This will save you time if you have a post that is relevant for several of your topic pages.

Filter by Date

For a more precise exploration of your content within a topic page, you can either filter by curation date or publication date on a specific timeframe.

Combining a search by date with tag(s) OR a keyword search is possible.

Translate a Post

The Translate functionality is accessible from Content Search, Source monitoring, the publication window and on the articles published on the topic.

The translation feature is available for curators and readers.

Please note that you must have a Scoop.it account to benefit from this functionality.

The advantages of translation:

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Expand your target audience: by allowing content to be translated into multiple languages, your monitoring can reach an international audience. This allows readers to consume relevant information in their own language.

๐Ÿ“š Increase content diversity: translating articles from sources in a language other than English gives you the opportunity to offer a diversity of perspectives.

๐ŸŒ Improve international collaboration: for teams working internationally, a translation feature makes it easy to share resources and content between people speaking different languages.

โฑ๏ธ Save time and efficiency: Translation integration offers an all-in-one solution, eliminating the need for a separate translation tool and making it easier to consume multilingual content.

Scoops Management Interface

The scoop management interface is accessible from your topic settings and aims to make it easier for you to reorganize your topics in a few clicks.

  • Simplified movement: transfer several scoops simultaneously from one topic to another.

  • Bulk deletion: delete several scoops from the same topic in one click.

These actions are facilitated by the filter by tag, the filter by date and by a search. The three filters can be combined for a more refined search.
