Right of Withdrawal Button Compliance for EU/Germany

Written by Hannah Harris

We're working on adding a withdrawal option to the billing area for your buyers, geo-targeted to German/EU customers, so that piece will be handled at the platform level once it's live. We'll share a timeline once we have one.

In the meantime, the fastest way to add a layer of protection is to add withdrawal waiver language to your terms of service checkbox -- you can do this in your product settings, either as a default across all products or at the individual product level.

For your withdrawal waiver language, you can use something like:

"I am purchasing digital content and agree to immediate delivery. I understand this waives my 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law."

We'd recommend confirming the exact wording with a legal advisor familiar with EU consumer law, as this isn't legal advice on our end -- just a practical starting point.

We'll keep you posted as we build out the platform-side solution!
