A product's type dictates how a person can engage with the product’s content once they have joined the product.

To adjust your product's type, open your product's settings page and locate the 'Type' option which is right below your product's 'Status':

Regular

All modules & lessons can be accessed immediately when someone joins the product and they can engage freely with the content in any order.

This option is ideal when you don’t want to restrict access or order.

Timed Dripped

Modules are released based on a specific number of days or weeks set within each module's settings.

The timeframe set for each time dripped module is relative to the day the user gained access to the product.

For example, if you have a module's release set to '1 week', the module will be released 1 week after the user joined the product - not 1 week after the previous module's release.

This option is great for evergreen content where you want to enforce a certain pace that someone can consume the content.

Date Dripped

Modules are released based on a specific calendar date set within each module's settings.

Date dripped modules will release at 12 am in the time zone set for your account. This is an ideal option for live programs, challenges, etc.

Rolling Drip

As with other drip products, your modules are released based on a specific calendar date set within each module's settings. However, based on when someone joins your product, they will have limited access to the modules in your product.

If you've set up a monthly membership where your content releases on January 1, and your next module releases on February 1, a member who joins on February 2 will only see February's module and will not have access to January's module.

Using our above example, a member joining on January 15 (or any date between Jan 1 and Feb 1) will automatically have access to your January module. Then on February 1, they will get access to February's module as well.

If you'd like to give a specific member access to previous modules, you can manually adjust the date of that member's access under "Products" in their individual member profile.

Rolling drip modules will release at 12 am in the time zone set for your account. This is an ideal option for memberships where you're releasing monthly content, and want to hide previous month's content from new members.

Progressive

All modules & lessons must be completed in order and there is no pace enforced.

Once the lesson is marked complete, the next lesson will be unlocked.

Once all lessons with a module are marked complete, the next module will be unlocked.

This is a great option for content that should be consumed in a specific order or for when you want to be able to thoroughly track a person's engagement through the product.
