You might be using MemberVault as a membership site and might want the ability for your users to comment and interact with each other inside one of your products, module, or lessons.

Now this is an available feature inside of MemberVault and it’s easy to enable!

Comments can be enabled for Products, Modules, Lessons, Pages and Blog Posts.

They will only appear for logged-in users.

Public Teaser Module Comments will not be visible for logged-out visitors.

How To Enable Comments on a Product

To switch this feature on for Products, enter the Product Edit panel and go to "Additional Options".

Go to the "Enable Comments" field and select "Yes" from the dropdown menu.

This will display a Comment field in the main Product area that your visitors see when they first click into a Product.

Note: this setting does NOT automatically enable Comments on everything inside the Product.

You will need to switch on Comments individually for each Module and Lesson where you would like them to appear.

How To Enable Comments on Modules

Select the Module where you would like Comments to appear.

Go to "Module Settings" and enable Comments from the dropdown menu.

The Comment field will display at the Module Description, which people see when they enter a Module to view the list of Lessons.

How To Enable Comments on Lessons

Just like with Modules, you can enable Comments for individual Lessons.

Go to Lesson Settings and select "Yes" under the dropdown menu for "Enable Comments".

Then Save the lesson.

The Comments will display at the bottom of the Lesson, after the "Mark As Complete" button.

Comments Indicator

Sometimes you quickly need to check if Comments are On or Off.

To make this easy, MV displays a little comment bubble to indicate that Comments are enabled for that item.

The above image shows the "Comments Enabled" icon for the Module titled "Synth Instruments."

This icon will display any place you have comments enabled -- such as your list of Products, Modules, Lessons or Pages.

How To Enable Comments on Pages

Select the Page you would like to edit and go to Page Settings.

Select "Yes" from the dropdown menu for "Enable Comments".

Comments will display at the bottom of the page.

How To Enable Comments on Blog Posts

Comments for your MV Blog can only be turned on globally for all Posts.

To enable Blog Comments, go to "Settings" from the left sidebar and select "Blog."

Choose "Yes" from the dropdown menu to Enable Comments.

The Comments will display underneath each Blog Post for your visitors to reply and interact.

At the time of this writing you can NOT activate comments individually on selected Posts.

When you switch them on, they will be available on all Posts in your Blog.
