In MemberVault, any person who can log into your MemberVault Site is considered a 'member'. It does not matter what products the person has access to, how many products they have access to or if those products were free or purchased.

As soon as someone joins your MV Site, either by opting into or purchasing one of your products or having been added manually, they count as a 'member'. Anyone with a 'member account' for your MV Site will count towards your limit - regardless of whether or not you would consider them an active user.

For example, if you have 50 people in your account but only 40 of those people have signed in and engaged with your products - the number of members in your account is still 50 people.

Should you exceed your current legacy plan's member limit, the system will provide you with a grace period of 7 days to take action by either upgrading your account or removing members. Learn more about removing members here.

During this 7 day grace period, your members can still engage with your products and you will still be able to make sales and collect new opt-ins.

If you have not taken action during the grace period by upgrading your plan or removing members, your products will be locked in 'inactive' status once the grace period concludes.

This means that your members will no longer be able to engage with your products and those visiting your MV Site will not be able to view your available products until you either upgrade to an alternate plan or bring your member count back under your limit.
