Does MV Send an Invoice/Receipt When Someone Purchases My Product?

MV does not directly process or collect any funds on behalf when someone purchases one of your products from within your MV Site.

The purchase is communicated to the selected payment processor (Stripe or PayPal) for them to manage the transaction.

For this reason, MV does not send an invoice or receipt on your behalf when someone purchases one of your products.

If you use PayPal as a payment processor, PayPal will automatically send a receipt to your purchaser by default.

If you use Stripe as a payment processor, you will need to enable the invoice/receipt feature within your settings as Stripe does not do this by default.

To do this, go to your Stripe Dashboard to Settings > Business Settings > Your Business > Emails:

Once you've opened your email settings, enable the successful payments option to have a receipt sent when a customer makes a successful purchase:
