Troubleshooting MailerLite Automation Issues and Other Cool Tips to Try

If your automated emails are not sending, here are some things to help you troubleshoot:

  1. Check that the tag for the Added to Product action matches the group name in MailerLite.

  2. Make sure the automation is turned on.

  3. Turn off the automation and reselect the group as the trigger. It can sometimes get out of sync, say if you renamed the group during the setup.

One of the tricky things to remember is the groups/tag terminology. If you are used to tags from applications like MailChimp, then it can be hard to switch it around.

For MailerLite, groups are the same as tags. So when you see tags in MemberVault, think of them as MailerLite Groups.

Test your automation by signing up as a customer. It's best to do this via an incognito browser or a different browser brand (e.g. if you're setting up your course in Chrome, use Firefox for your test customer).

Select the “Repeat workflow for subscribers who rejoin the same group” checkbox so you can repeat the tests if you need to.
