MailerLite is a great email marketing tool and it is very popular for startups, freelancers, and small businesses.
You can use a free or paid MailerLite Plan with MemberVault. If you're considering using MailerLite as your connected email service provider with MV, you can use this article to help you decide which plan works best for you!
Free MailerLite Plan
Pro's:
You can have up to 1000 contacts on the free plan
Can connect directly to MemberVault
Ability to create sign-up forms and pop-ups
Ability to create up to 10 landing pages on MailerLite (you can always create more on your MemberVault account).
Ability to create newsletters that are also mobile optimized and with access to an Image Library on ML
Access to a basic email automation builder
Con's:
This is a really good free plan, and will get you a lot of what you need to use with MemberVault! As with all free plans, there are limits, so if your email list is larger than 1000 contacts, and you need multiple ways to trigger an automation or send a lot of emails each month, you'll want to look at one of MailerLite's paid plans.
Note: MailerLite also only provides their 24/7 support for the first 30 days of using their free plan. If you have an issue with your MailerLite account that our team at MemberVault isn't able to assist with on our end, you'll need to upgrade to one of their paid plans.
Growing Business MailerLite Plan
Pro's:
All of the capabilities of the free plan plus
Unlimited monthly email sends
Unlimited landing pages, embedded forms and pop-ups
Ability to create your own newsletter template + access to pre-created MailerLite newsletter templates
Ability to edit links in campaigns you've already sent (in case you send the wrong link to your MV products etc)
Con's:
This plan still limits the number of ways you can trigger an automation. To give an example, if you have an onboarding sequence you want to send all new subscribers regardless of which MemberVault product they purchase, you can only trigger that automation by using the exact same tag recreated in each product, rather than having multiple different tags trigger the same email.
Advanced MailerLite Plan
Pro's:
All of the features from Free and Growing plus
Multiple automation triggers
15% off of Google Workspace (having your own email domain rather than a generic gmail.com address massively improves your email deliverability)
Promotional pop-ups and Facebook Custom Audiences
Con's:
This plan gets you the best value for your investment. You do have to pay more based on audience size if you have more than 500 contacts, so make sure you're factoring this in when choosing a plan.
MailerLite also has an Enterprise plan available for email lists with over 100K contacts. To view a full and accurate pricing breakdown for all features, check out MailerLite's pricing page here.
Note: In terms of integrating with MemberVault, the main limitation with all MailerLite plans is that their webhooks will not currently work in sending your member's data over to MemberVault.
This means that if customers are buying your products outside of MemberVault (ie via your main website), then you will need to get a 3rd party tool (such as Zapier) involved to send the customer's name and email to MemberVault.
MailerLite has added a webhook feature to their platform in recent years, so this is something we will be looking at correcting in a future update!
