If you haven't read our How to use our community feature help article yet, we recommend starting there.
Your members will be notified if someone comments on one of their posts, or replies to one of their comments. Members will be able to choose inside their profile whether they want email notifications or to keep all notifications inside MemberVault.
You as an admin will be notified for the same reasons.
We're actively shaping the notification experience, so expect this to change rapidly. We'll update this help doc as changes happen.
