The User Setup page in Mentionlytics allows you to manage your personal account settings and preferences.
From here, you can update your profile details, change security settings, and access integrations and API credentials and can be found under Settings > User Setup.
1. Personal Information
You can edit the basic details associated with your Mentionlytics user account:
First Name – Update how your name appears across the platform
Last Name – Optional field for your surname
Default Language – Choose the language in which you want to use Mentionlytics
These settings affect your personal experience and how notifications or interface elements are displayed.
2. Login & Security
Change Password
Use the Change Password button to update your login credentials at any time.
We recommend changing your password periodically for security reasons.
Delete My User Account
If you no longer wish to use Mentionlytics, you can permanently delete your user profile using the Delete my User Account option.
⚠️ Important: This action cannot be undone and will remove your personal access to the platform.
3. Canva Integration
You can connect your Mentionlytics account with Canva to easily create visuals based on your reports and insights.
Click Authorize account under the Canva section
Log in to Canva and approve the connection
Start designing social posts, presentations, and reports using Mentionlytics data
4. API Access
If you are using Mentionlytics programmatically or integrating with another system, you can generate your personal API key via the Get API Token button. The API is available to plans Pro and above.
This token allows you to:
Retrieve mentions and analytics
Automate exports
Connect Mentionlytics with BI tools or internal dashboards
💡 Keep your API token secure and never share it publicly.

After making any changes, click "Save User" to ensure your updates are applied.
