It can be found under Settings > Account Configuration. Here's what you can do:

  • Manage your subscription and usage

  • Authorize social media for deeper tracking

  • Add or remove team members

  • Control AI emotion analysis

  • Set EMV currency

  • Configure time zone

1. Account Information

This section contains the core details of your account.

  • Total monthly quota

This helps you monitor usage and avoid hitting limits unexpectedly.

2. Facebook Authorization

Authorize Facebook Button

This option allows you to:

  • Access age-restricted pages (e.g., alcohol-related brands)

  • Collect mentions from Facebook public pages

Important: This authorization can be done using a user profile and won't add any page for monitoring.

3. Team & Access Management

From this section you can manage who has access to your account and at what level.

4. Global Account Settings

These settings apply to how mentions are analyzed across your entire account.

When enabled, the system identifies emotions such as:

  • Joy

  • Anger

  • Sadness

  • Fear

  • Sarcasm

  • Neutral

Highlight Mentions

Earned Media Value (EMV) Currency

Select the currency used for EMV calculations

5. Account Time Zone

Your time zone setting determines when daily reports are sent, how date filters work, and when alerts and exports are scheduled.

To change it, simply click on the current time zone and select a new one.

Save All

After making any changes on this page, click Save All to apply them.

6. Social profiles

The Social Profiles area is where you connect specific accounts, pages, or locations so Mentionlytics can collect media content directly from those sources.

Social profiles belong either under Brand Monitoring, Competitors or Marketing leads.

This section tracks only content coming directly from official and public channels, such as:

  • Facebook Page posts

  • YouTube channel uploads

  • TikTok videos

  • X/Twitter account posts

  • Google location reviews

Authorizing your own brand's social profiles unlocks more detailed data compared to unauthorized profiles, i.e. a competitor.

IMPORTANT!: Without Facebook authorization, Mentionlytics access to certain social data, especially from your own pages, will be limited. Learn more about authorisations.

What do the status indicators mean?

Post Tracking (checked / unchecked) – Whether the profile is active and Mentionlytics is collecting content from it

Authorize (checked / unchecked) Whether the account is authenticated.

Some networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) require authentication due to platform policies.

Without authorization:

  • We may collect only limited public data

  • Comments will be anonymised

You can see more information on authorisations and social profiles here.
