Enabling the integration
In order to enable the integration with FoundU, please reach out to us via Intercom. We enable the integration within one business day.
Integration flow
Once enabled, the integration with FoundU is live across all jobs and gets triggered whenever a candidate completes the job's Offer stage.
We create successful candidates on FoundU as employees in the "Pending People" section. You can then continue with their onboarding from there.
Pre-requisites
In order for the FoundU integration to work, a job in Mercu requires the following set-up:
A "Mapped Response" question (type: Email)
An "Offer" stage
The "Mapped Response" question (type: Email) collects the candidate's email. This is a requirement for the candidate to get created as an employee in FoundU.
The "Offer" stage is the stage that triggers the integration with FoundU once the candidate completes the associated campaign.

Troubleshooting the FoundU integration
If you set up everything but candidates are not being created as employees in FoundU, please check the following:
Did we enable the FoundU integration for your account? You can reach out to us via Intercom to check on this.
Did you add a "Mapped Response" question (type: Email) to the "Offer" stage campaign? If not, we cannot create candidates as employees in FoundU.
Did you add a "Offer" stage to your job's workflow on Mercu? We only trigger the integration with FoundU when a candidate completes the "Offer" stage.
Did the candidate complete the "Offer" stage? We only trigger the integration with FoundU when a candidate completes the "Offer" stage.
