Heating your Methodology Food

Learn how to properly heat your food with pro tips straight from the Methodology sous chefs.

Meat & Seafood:

  1. Heat pan to medium-high.

  2. Add avocado oil, pastured ghee, or other heat-safe oil.

  3. Add protein. It’s ready to flip when you try to move protein and it doesn’t stick to the pan.

Veggies & Stir-fries:

  1. Heat a shallow pan or frying pan to medium-high.

  2. Add veggies or stir-fry.

  3. Stir frequently until food is hot.

Rice, Pasta, & Noodles:

  1. Heat pan to medium.

  2. Add food and a splash of water, stock, or nut milk to add moisture back in and to keep the food from sticking to the pan.

  3. Stir frequently until food is hot.

Soups, Stews, & Chilis:

  1. Heat a saucepan or pot to medium.

  2. Add food.

  3. Stir occasionally until food is hot.
