We have a dedicated Feeds page as part of the Curate sub-menu which lets you add and remove feeds from the various social networks. Feeds are the building blocks of your Miappi profile. We consider Feeds to mean:

  • Your own social media accounts

  • Other, public, social media profiles

  • User generated conversations (UGC) around hashtags.

  • On the My Feeds panel on the Feeds Page, you can add your own, authenticated social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.). In the case of Facebook, you can also add Facebook Pages.

Adding your own feeds is easy. On the My Feeds Panel just click the network icon for the account you want to bring into your social wall, then click the Connect button. A pop-up window from the selected network will open and ask for you to grant Miappi access to the feed, click yes.

Other Feeds

Like what somebody else is saying? Our users can also add ‘third-party’ content from other social media pages (as long as they are public). Under Other Feeds, you can add their Facebook Page or any other social account as a feed on your Miappi thereby incorporating their content into your social wall.

Feed Allowances

Our platform allows users to add an unlimited amount of feeds subject to the terms of their agreement with Miappi.

Feeds could be multiple instances of any one social network e.g. six Facebook accounts, but typically users might add one instance of each network: e.g. one Facebook account, one Twitter account, one Instagram account and so on.

Hashtags

Incorporate hashtag content from Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr and YouTube (Note. You must first authenticate your own accounts from those networks before adding hashtags).
