What is a Sandbox Environment?

A sandbox environment is used for risk-free testing. It uses data that is not associated with a user’s production data. “Production” data is the data commonly used for everyday business means, and it is essential to keep this data safe from unexpected alterations. Before creating a sandbox environment, we strongly recommend the user back up their production data.

When Should I Use a Sandbox Environment?

  • Anytime data has the possibility of being altered beyond the scope of your production environment needs.

  • Every new build installation should be tested within a sandbox environment to ensure the upgrade does not adversely affect custom production environment configurations.
