The Route Editing Tools allow you to make modifications to routing operations.
Using the Machining Tools, you can:
Reverse Polyline Direction – Allows you to change the direction of a polyline, which will swap the start and endpoints.
Change Setmill – Allows you to pick a new point for the start of the machining. If the machining uses a lead-in and lead-out, this will move those to the selected point.
Step Through Polyline – Allows you to step through each point/vertex of a polyline and make modifications.
Hatch Polyline – Allows you to create a pocket routing operation for a custom shaped polyline.
Show Centerline Path – Allows you to view the travel of the router bit from the center for selected machine operation.
Assign Priorities to Routes – Allows you to pick, in sequence, the order of machining operations.
The Modify Polyline Properties tool will allow you to cycle through each point of a routing operation and change the Z value and feed speed.
The Leads tools will allow you to add lead-ins and lead-outs to polylines. It also allows the options to ramp the lead-in and use arcs for the leads.
Adding Hardware
To add hardware to a part, select the desired hardware item from the list and specify which face to attach the hardware. Any associative machining assigned to the hardware will be applied to the part.
Updating the Product with the Part Modifications
To update the part with its modifications and redraw the product, click on the Parts List tab and select the part that was modified from the list. Once the correct part has been selected, right-click, and choose Update Current Part and Redraw Product.
If you have made modifications to multiple parts, you must select the part that matches the current part drawing.
