The Find and Replace here does not affect the project level materials. It is similar to using the Find and Replace in a material file. It goes into the selected category for the factory level materials (inventory), searches for and replaces the keywords as specified. This command modifies the name of a material, or multiple materials, thus allowing you to minimize the number of different uniquely named inventory materials. With a generic list of materials, you can use the Find and Replace command to modify the generic name of the material to be a project-specific material.
Select any additional options for other files to copy to the new spec group or select no additional options.
The program displays the "Find and Replace" box to replace specified text within the copied files. For example, you may want to replace "PL1" with "PL5" to reflect a different color.
