A breaking change is an alteration to the behavior of the library that may require users to alter the way they interact with the various areas of the software including user interfaces, databases, product data, reporting, etc. Typically, these changes are made to pave the way for new functionality or to correct the functionality of existing features, lessening the need for user-initiated workarounds.
Below is a list of the recent breaking changes:
LookUpTableSystemDrawerSlide Refactoring
As of Foundation Library build: 23.1114
With the 23.1114 Library Update, we have changes that may require user intervention to avoid issues with undermount drawer runners.
The main factory LookUpTable (LookUpTableSystemDrawerSlide) has been refactored to better accommodate situations using varying material thicknesses for their drawers such as 12mm, 16mm, and 18mm. We have also added the ability to control front and rear drawer notches for the locking devices.
After running this update, please consider the following scenarios:
Any custom wood drawer subassemblies OR current existing projects will need their wood drawers updated (rebuilt from Library) to avoid errors.
Any customizations users have made to this table will need to be restored.
Any custom wood drawers that have been developed will need to be modified with new prompt formulas or rebuilt entirely.
