The Blueprint Settings tab controls how blueprint image files are imported (resolution), stored (disk vs. database, with a migration tool), and compressed (format/color depth) to manage disk and database size.
DPI Import
A slider (50–200 DPI) setting the resolution used when importing blueprint images. Higher DPI means sharper images but larger file sizes.
Save Drawings
Write Drawings To Disk - Check this box to determine whether blueprint images are stored as files on disk (enabled) versus stored directly in the database (disabled).
Transfer Drawings To Disk / Transfer Drawings To Database - Select one to migrate existing blueprint images between the two storage locations.
Compression
Convert To Black/White - Converts imported images to a monochromatic color scheme, reducing the file size.
Compression Type - Select the TIFF compression format blueprint images are stored in (such as LZW, Deflate/Adobe Deflate, JPEG, CCITT3/4, PackBits, RLE, etc., default CCITT4).
