Before connecting Pemo with Xero, let’s make sure everything’s set up correctly.
1. Check user access
- In Pemo, you’ll need to be an Admin or Accountant.
- In Xero, you’ll need either Standard or Advisor access.
2. Gather your essentials
- Your Xero login (with 2FA if enabled).
- The correct company entity if you manage multiple organizations.
- A designated Payment Account in Xero (or create one during setup).
3. Decide your accounting structure
You’ll be mapping:
- Chart of accounts (expense categories)
- Vendors / Contacts
- VAT rates
- Tracking categories (like cost centers or departments)
Pemo Power Tip: If you don’t already have a payment account for the Pemo wallet, you can create one directly in Pemo during setup.
