Recording loan repayments is simple within MiKashBoks. Remember that loans are issued within the rules that govern the group, and repayments are the same.

Once a loan has been issued you can begin taking repayments the next meeting and the borrower will begin to receive notifications of their balance due after the grace period.

Follow the screenshots below to learn how to record a loan repayment or check out the video here:

Immediately after you record contributions to savings and social funds, you'll be taken to the 'Record Loan Repayments' screen.

Note that if your group(s) does not have any active loans, you won't see this screen. If you are recording a repayment, click on the member's name.

If you aren't recording any repayments, for example, if a loan is in the grace period, then click 'Next'.

Enter the amount being repaid. This can be up to the total amount due.

Remember that a loan will have a grace period with multiple installments and members won't have to pay the full balance immediately.

Repeat the process for each member.

When finished, click 'Submit'.
