Every Community Savings and Lending Group has its own group rules. The group rules involve setting up the following -

- Meeting dates

- Required contribution amount

- Borrowing limit

- Loan repayment terms

The great thing about MiKashBoks is that it lets you set the rules for your group exactly how you operate today!

You can go ahead and follow the screenshots below:

First, click " OPEN GROUP CASHBOX"

Then select "Community savings and lending association"
And click ''CONTINUE'' on the pop-up to proceed

Choose "Mobile Money" - Everyone will have to link their Mobile money wallets to be able to make transactions like deposits by themselves

Name your group and provide a brief description.

Choose your transaction day. It can be daily, weekly or monthly.

Set your share price and then how much will be due by each transaction date. For more on this, check out:

Set your Social Fund. It can be any amount, a flat amount, or a range. This will be due at each meeting.

Set how much a member can request for a loan.

Also, you can set how Loans can be approved, Loan repayment installments as well as grace period.

Here, you can set voting approvals needed for a lending request for both members and Admin

Set the fees, or margin, that a member will pay for their loan.

Lastly, review your settings and make sure everything looks right. If you need to change anything, click edit.

If everything looks good, click "Create Group"

After you create your group, click on "Invite Members next"
