Creating a Community Savings and Lending Association Group - Escrow

Every Community Savings and Lending Group has its own group rules. The group rules involve setting up the following -

- Meeting dates

- Required contribution amount

- Borrowing limit

- Loan repayment terms

The great thing about MiKashBoks is that it lets you set the rules for your group exactly how you operate today!

To start a Community Savings and Lending Associaltion Group, scroll down from the app and select Open Group Savings, to set it up.

You can go ahead and follow the screenshots below:

From the Group Setup section, select the second option: Community Savings and Lending Association.

A confirmation dialog box will appear. Click Continue to proceed

Select Mobile Money as the deposit method for Escrow Groups.

Input a Group Name and a brief description for your savings group.

Choose how often group transactions will occur:

Daily, Weekly, Monthly

Set the value of each share in your group.

Set the social fund deposit amount (if applicable).

Define the maximum loan amount that members can request

If voting is required, set the minimum number of votes needed for approval.

Also, clearly define any fees members should pay for loans if any

A summary of your group rules will be displayed.

Click Create Group to finalize setup.

After a few seconds, your group will be created.
Click Invite Members Next to add participants.
