The final step to operating a successful Community Savings and Lending Group is to go through closing. Traditionally this means counting the money and then returning it to the members in proportion to the number of shares they have purchased after deducting any funds due for fines or outstanding loans.
This complex process is made easy in MiKashBoks.
Follow the steps below to close out your group:

Select the "Share Out" option from the menu. | After the congratulations message, click "Proceed with share out" to continue with the process. |
Click "Get started" on the "Starting share out" page to proceed with the next steps of the process. | On the "Settle Open Loans" page, resolve any outstanding loans. Afterward, click "Continue" to proceed to the next step. | To settle loans, click on "Settle" against each name and choose to either make a payment or write off an existing loan. |
To confirm the decision to write off a loan, click the "OK" button to proceed. | To repay any amount of the loan, enter the amount then proceed |
Next, you'll receive an overview of how the group currently stands |
Payout amount for each member based on their shares will be automatically calculated. Click 'Continue' | To confirm the amount for each member, click 'Share Out' | On this page you can 'Accept' or 'Change' a payout amount for a member |
After confirming, click 'Continue' to proceed with Share outs | Next you'll see the Social fund balance available to be withdrawn | Select the name of the member who is to receive the Social fund balance withdrawal. Enter the amount and reason, then click 'Add' |
Click 'Continue' to confirm and the transaction will be made | To proceed, based on your group's progress and goals click 'Start New Saving Cycle' to begin a fresh cycle, or 'End Group' to finalize group transactions. | Share Out will be confirmed with all members receiving their expected Shares and cycle closed |
