If my Peer Treatment Monitor becomes concerned, what should they do?

They can text your guide who can set up a time for you to meet with your clinician in the days following your session, if needed. If they are concerned that you are experiencing a medical emergency or are actively suicidal or homicidal, they should call 911. If they are concerned because you are experiencing emotional distress or appear not your usual self, they should remind you that you are safe and help maintain your safety in your environment until the effects of the medicine wear off.
