ℹ️ Treating ADHD in Adults and Adolescents

At MindDemand, we treat ADHD in both adults and adolescents.

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common neurodevelopmental disorder that affects both children and adults. It is characterized by difficulty paying attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.

💭 What to Expect During Your Appointment for ADHD Evaluation

If you're scheduling an appointment for ADHD evaluation or management, we require all patients to complete a 15-minute, FDA-cleared ADHD test. This assessment can be done either in our office or virtually, depending on what’s most convenient for you.

The test consists of a series of questions that assess your symptoms and behaviors related to ADHD. It is designed to help us better understand your symptoms and support an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.

💡 Why is the ADHD Test Important?

The ADHD test is an important part of the evaluation process because it provides valuable information about your symptoms and behaviors. This information helps us make an accurate diagnosis and develop an effective treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.

Additionally, the test is FDA-cleared, meaning it has been rigorously tested and proven to be a reliable tool for diagnosing ADHD. It is also a quick and convenient way to assess your symptoms, allowing us to efficiently gather the necessary information for your evaluation.

🧪 What Happens After the Test?

After completing the ADHD test, your results will be reviewed by our team of healthcare professionals. If the results indicate that you may have ADHD, we will discuss your diagnosis and treatment options during the follow-up appointment.

If you are diagnosed with ADHD, we will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication, therapy, and lifestyle changes. Our goal is to help you manage your symptoms and improve your overall quality of life.
