What is the Alliance for Naloxone Safety in the Workplace (ANSW) Training Program?
The ANSW training program provides free resources to help organizations address opioid overdoses in the workplace. These resources can be used immediately, whether or not your organization has a Learning Management System (LMS).
What if my organization doesn’t have an LMS?
For companies without an LMS, ANSW has partnered with MindForge to offer a free video course covering opioid overdose risks, recognition, and Naloxone administration.
How do I access the MindForge Naloxone training course?
Download the MindForge Mobile app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
Create a new profile in the app.
Enter the onboarding code NARCAN02 to access the course.
How do I get my certificate after completing the training?
Participants can download their certificates by logging in at mymindforge.com. Use the same login that you created on the mobile app.
Here is a video on how to download the Certificate of Completion.
Are there additional resources available?
Yes! ANSW provides a downloadable worksite poster (available in English and Spanish) to raise awareness and preparedness for opioid overdoses. You can access this poster and other resources here: answ.org/training
Is this training legally required?
The training is designed for informational purposes and does not replace legal or regulatory requirements. Organizations should seek medical and legal counsel to ensure compliance with local and federal Good Samaritan laws related to Naloxone administration.
Why should my organization implement Naloxone training?
By integrating Naloxone awareness training, organizations can improve preparedness, ensure workplace safety, and potentially save lives in the event of an opioid overdose.
