Setting Expiration Dates on New Assignments

  1. Create a new assignment and select the audience (individuals or groups).

  2. In the step where you set due dates and notifications, locate the Reassign option.

  3. Choose the time period: Select between days, weeks, or months.

  4. Select when reassignment should occur:

    • After Completion: Based on the date the course is completed.

      • Example: If an orientation course is completed today and set to reassign in 12 months, it will be reassigned one year from today.

    • After Assignment: Based on the date the course was initially assigned.

      • Example: If a safety training is assigned on April 1st with a 12-month cycle, it will be reassigned every April 1st, regardless of when employees complete it.

  5. Click next, and the final step is to confirm the assignment.

Updating Expiration Dates for Existing Assignments

  1. Locate the assigned course you want to update and add the expiration date.

  2. Click the three dots next to the course.

  3. Select Edit Assignment.

  4. Update the reassignment settings, due dates, or notifications.

  5. Save your changes.

These updates will apply to all employees with that assignment.

Viewing Expired Courses

On the web, the My Assignments page and the Training tab in each profile include an Expired Courses tab. This allows both workers and managers to track courses in three categories: Incomplete, Complete, and Expired.

When a course expires and completion credit is reset, it will appear under both Expired Courses and Incomplete Courses.
