The Marketplace in MindForge provides you with over 450 courses available in both English and Spanish, making it easier to deliver training to those who's primary language is Spanish. This article will guide you through the steps to assign Marketplace courses to your organization, jobsites, or teams within MindForge.

Access the Marketplace

To begin, navigate to the Marketplace from the menu within MindForge. Here, you can explore all available courses.

Find the Desired Course

You can locate a course by using the search bar at the top of the Marketplace or by browsing through the categories designed to group courses by specific topics. Once you find a course of interest, click Course Info to view more details, including the languages offered, course length, key objectives, and outline.

Open the Assignment Page

After selecting a course, click Assignment to open the assignment page.

On this page, you’ll see important information such as:

  • Current assignments (who the course is assigned to)

  • Assignment method (organization, jobsite, or team)

  • Completion status

  • Due dates

  • Notification schedules

You can also search for a specific user or adjust the filters to view assignments by organization, jobsite, or team.

Create a New Assignment

Click the Create New Assignment button.

Choose the recipients for the assignment. You can assign the course to:

  1. The entire Organization

  2. Jobsites

  3. Teams

  4. Individual employees

After selecting the assignees, click Next to continue.

On this page, you will see the options to set a reminder notification.

  • Set a due date by days, weeks, or months from when the course is assigned.

  • By default, a notification will be sent when the course is initially assigned to current members of the group.

After selecting the notifications, click Next to continue.

On the final page, you’ll see a confirmation screen detailing:

  • The groups or individuals receiving the course.

  • Any credit costs associated with the assignment.

If a new member joins a team to which you've assigned courses, additional credits will be consumed as these new members are automatically assigned the course.

Finally, click Assign Course to confirm and submit the assignment.

Unassigning Courses

To unassign a course:

  1. Check the box next to the org, jobsite, or team the course is assigned to.

  2. Click the button to Remove Selected at the top.

IMPORTANT: You cannot unassign training for individual users if the course was assigned as part of a team or jobsite.
