  6. Enter a title
    • Use a descriptive name such as “Last 30 school days” or “Quarter 1”.

  7. Click Create
    • The preset is saved and applied to the current report view.

Archive or edit a behavior history record

You can correct reporting accuracy by editing a behavior record or archiving a record that was assigned inaccurately.

Step-by-step Guide to Editing or Archiving a Behavior Record

  1. Open Behavior History in Reports
    • Select the Behavior History report from the report dropdown.

  2. Select a behavior and click Apply Filters
    • Use the filters to locate the specific record you need to correct.

  3. Click the Pencil icon next to the behavior record to edit the behavior.
    • Edit the behavior selection or edit the recorded date and time.

  4. To Archive, click the Archive icon next to the pencil icon.
    • Archiving removes the record from Minga permanently.

Important: Editing or archiving a behavior record does not remove automatically assigned consequences that were triggered by that behavior, so you must also update the related record in Consequence History.

Troubleshooting

  1. Issue: A report does not show the students you expect.
Solution: You can confirm the Date range, Lists, and Grade filters are set correctly, then click Apply Filters again to refresh results.

  2. Issue: Points or consequences totals look incorrect after editing a behavior record.
Solution: You can validate related records by checking Consequence History after editing or archiving a behavior in Behavior History, since consequence records do not automatically update when a behavior is changed.

  3. Issue: You cannot find a behavior record to correct.
Solution: You can expand your search by removing Behavior Type filters and searching by ID Number or Email, then narrowing results after the record appears.
