How to Redeem Points for Rewards

You can redeem student points for rewards once a student has accumulated enough points to qualify for an incentive.

Step-by-Step Guide to Redeeming Points

  1. Access the My Tools menu from your main navigation dashboard.

  2. Click the Redeem Points button to open the student selection screen.

  3. Use the Search bar to find a student by Name or ID, or use the Filter to narrow down results by Group, Grade, or Role.

  4. Add the desired Rewards to the cart.

  5. Click the Redeem button next to the specific student's profile.

Tip: If a student does not have a high enough balance, a "You don't have enough points!" warning will appear. You should check their current balance and help them choose a different reward or wait until they earn more points.


Archiving Reward Entries

You can archive or remove a reward entry if it was assigned to a student in error.

Step-by-Step Guide to Archiving a Reward Entry

  1. Go to the Points module in your main sidebar.

  2. Click on the Reports tab at the top of the screen.

  3. Select the Redemption History report from the list of available logs.

  4. Find the specific student, select their record, and click the Archive button.

Important: You must have Owner, Manager, or Points Manager permissions to update or remove points and rewards. Staff and Teachers without these specific roles will not see the Archive option.

Can I delete a reward that was given by mistake? Yes, you can remove a reward entry by going to the Points section, selecting the Reports tab, opening Redemption History, and clicking Archive on the specific record.

What happens if a student doesn't have enough points for a reward? If a student's balance is too low, the system will display a warning stating "You don't have enough points!" and prevent the checkout from completing.
