How to Enable Moderation
To get the full benefit of moderated content in your Minga, you will need to enable it in Settings.

Open the Settings menu from the sidebar to access platform preferences.
Head to the main Settings tab.
Expand the Moderation section to see available moderation controls.
Switch on Enable Moderation to activate content checks and keep your community safe.
Hover over the info icon to discover how blocking flagged content ensures a positive experience for everyone.
Automatic AI Filtering
Minga proactively protects your community by scanning every piece of content before or as it is posted to ensure it meets safety standards.
All submitted content is scanned by two different AI Engines (Sift Ninja and Google Vision) for:
inappropriate and negative language and emoji's
bullying, racist, violent or sexual language and content
images that have adult or violent content
text in images that is not appropriate
Instant Content Deletion
In the event that our filters do not catch content that should not be posted to your Minga, an Owner or Manager can immediately delete that content from your Minga using the Content Context Menu.

Access the Content Context Menu by clicking on the three dots in the post.
Select Delete.
A pop-up will appear asking Are you sure you want to delete this content?
Select Delete.
Reporting and Reviewing
Minga allows community members to flag content they find concerning, which then moves to a dedicated queue for administrative review.
When content is reported, an Owner or Manager is notified and can take action in the Moderation tab. They can see the following:
That content has been reported
Who reported it
The reason it was reported

Open the Moderation tab to review all community reports in one place.
Navigate to Reported Content to see issues flagged by users for review.
Select View & Resolve to quickly investigate and take action on any reports.
Click the More Options button.
Choose Keep & Resolve to close the case while allowing the flagged content to remain on the platform.

How do I delete a post that I think is inappropriate?
You can delete an inappropriate post by clicking the Content Context Menu on the post and selecting the Delete button.
Who is can take action when a student reports a post?
An Owner or Manager is can take action in the Moderation tab on reported content.
Can I see why a post was reported?
Yes, you can see the reason a post was reported by navigating to the Moderation tab and reviewing the "Reason for Reporting" field for that specific item.
I can't see a post or event I made that should be on the main feed, where did it go?
An Owner can look in the Moderation tab under All Posts to see if the content was deleted in error or has an advanced publishing date and is not yet live on the feed.
