The following information applies to the Mintsoft to Mintsoft integration with Mintsoft.

Mintsoft to Mintsoft Integration Summary

  • Imports orders with status, channel & warehouse filters.

  • Imports products.

  • Inventory sync (single warehouse per connection).

  • Despatch updates are fetched when orders shipped.

Overview

The internal Mintsoft integration can automatically import product, order & inventory data from another Mintsoft account. This is a useful integration if you work with multiple Mintsoft 3PLs and need to send different types of orders to different warehouses.

1. API Key

The first part of the setup is to Create a Client User on the Mintsoft 3PL Client Account that you want to export order data from and/or import inventory to. If you already have a client user account, then you will need to set the API key to never expire. You will need to have Warehouse / Admin rights to do this. To learn more about API Keys, please review our API Key article.

Note: To receive dispatch updates and tracking numbers linked to the original order in the other Mintsoft database, 3PL Client users with an API key must enable the following roles ClientMarkPrinted and ClientMarkDespatched within the Client API role group.

2. Connect Setup

Once you have an API key, you now need to create a connection on the Mintsoft account you want order data to import to.

  1. Click Connect then Order Integrations.

  2. Next, click Mintsoft.

  3. Click Add Account.

  4. (3PL Only) Select the Client.

  5. Select the Warehouse and Channel.

  6. Make the connection Active once ready.

  7. Paste in the API key that you have generated.

  8. Set the Number Of Days to Check back from Orders (0 will import everything).

  9. Select the Order Status you want to import (Only orders matching this status will import).

  10. Choose the Frequency to import orders.

  11. (Optional) Enable Sync New Products and set the Product Sync Frequency to import/ sync products between databases.

  12. Stock Sync will be available once the connection is Active, and a Source Warehouse is chosen.

    • Stock sync is only available on a singular warehouse connection, if you need to synchronise stock for multiple warehouses, you will need to create multiple connections.

  13. Finally, click Add.

3. Selecting Source Warehouse and Source Channel

Once the connection is set up, you will have buttons to set the Warehouse(s) and Channel(s):

3.1. Source Warehouse

On the connection you have added, click Set Source Warehouse, and a list of warehouses is displayed, you can choose to select a Specific Warehouse or click All.

Note: If you need to import orders for multiple warehouses - but not all - then you would need to create multiple connections.

3.2. Source Channel

Once you have selected the Warehouse, the next thing to choose is the channel that you want orders to import from. Click Set Source Channel, select the Specific Channel, or click All.

4. Turn on and configure Stock Sync

Once you have made the connection and selected the source warehouse and channel; you will be able to turn on Stock Sync within the connection.
