Transfer Inventory

To transfer stock on Mintsoft using the Access Mintsoft app, please do the following:

  1. Within the Access Mintsoft app, select Transfer Inventory.

  2. Scan the Location barcode or select the location from the list.

    • Alternatively, select Unassigned Location.

  3. Scan or select the Product.

  4. Set the Quantity you want to transfer.

    • To transfer Allocated and Quarantined stock, please ensure the correct Warehouse Settings have been applied.

  5. Next, select Transfer.

  6. Select the Location you want to transfer the stock to.

  7. (Optional) Enter a Comment regarding the reason for the adjustment or select Skip.

You can only transfer stock to a different location within the same warehouse.


Transfer Inventory - Cartons and Pallets

The following information requires the Cartons and Pallets module to be active on your account. For more information on the additional module please review the Cartons and Pallets help guide.

Note: To transfer the Carton/ Pallet to a new location, please review our Transfer Carton/Pallet help guide.

Transfer to existing carton or pallet

To transfer stock to an existing carton or pallet using the Access Mintsoft app, please do the following:

  1. Within the Access Mintsoft app, select Transfer Inventory.

  2. Scan the Location barcode or select the location from the list.

    • Alternatively, select Unassigned Location (This is not recommended for long term storage).

  3. Scan or select the Product.

  4. Set the Quantity you want to transfer.

    • To transfer Allocated and Quarantined stock, please ensure the correct Warehouse Settings have been applied.

  5. Next, select Transfer.

  6. Finally, scan the Carton or Pallet Barcode to complete the transfer.

Transfer to new carton

To transfer stock to a new carton using the Access Mintsoft app, please do the following:

  1. Within the Access Mintsoft app, select Transfer Inventory.

  2. Scan the Location barcode or select the location from the list.

    • Alternatively, select Unassigned Location (This is not recommended for long term storage).

  3. Scan or select the Product.

  4. Set the Quantity you want to transfer.

    • To transfer Allocated and Quarantined stock, please ensure the correct Warehouse Settings have been applied.

  5. Next, select Transfer.

  6. Next, select the three dots in the top right corner to open the options menu.

  7. Select Receive to new Carton.

  8. Select the Carton Type.

  9. Enter or scan a unique Carton Code then select Continue.

    • Alternatively, choose the option to Auto-generate Carton Code.

  10. Next, scan or select the Location you want the Carton assigned to.

  11. This will complete the inventory transfer.

  12. The Carton will be generated within Mintsoft, and the carton label will be sent to the Courier Print Tool for printing.

Transfer to new pallet

To transfer stock to a new pallet using the Access Mintsoft app, please do the following:

  1. Within the Access Mintsoft app, select Transfer Inventory.

  2. Scan the Location barcode or select the location from the list.

    • Alternatively, select Unassigned Location (This is not recommended for long term storage).

  3. Scan or select the Product.

  4. Set the Quantity you want to transfer.

    • To transfer Allocated and Quarantined stock, please ensure the correct Warehouse Settings have been applied.

  5. Next, select Transfer.

  6. Next, select the three dots in the top right corner to open the options menu.

  7. Select Receive to new Pallet.

  8. Select the Pallet Type.

  9. Enter or scan a unique Pallet Code then select Continue.

    • Alternatively, choose the option to Auto-generate Pallet Code.

  10. Next, scan or select the Location you want the Pallet assigned to.

  11. This will complete the inventory transfer.

  12. The Pallet will be generated within Mintsoft, and the pallet label will be sent to the Courier Print Tool for printing.
