Invalid Media Error During Export in Minvo
When you export a video in Minvo, the system automatically performs a media validation check before sending the rendering job to our servers. This ensures everything in your project is accessible and ready to process.
If something is wrong, the export will pause and notify you.
🔍 What Happens During Export?
1️⃣ Quick Media Validation Check
Action (Automatic):
Minvo scans all media used in your project, including:
Videos
Images
Audio files
B-roll
External media URLs
Why:
This ensures every file is valid and accessible before rendering begins.
In most cases, this happens instantly and may only flash briefly before the export continues.
⚠️ When Invalid Media Is Detected
If Minvo finds an issue:
A message will appear explaining the problem.
The system will identify that one or more media files are invalid.
Rendering will pause until the issue is resolved.
This prevents failed exports and incomplete renders.

✅ How to Fix Invalid Media Issues
1️⃣ Check Your Media Files
Action:
Review all media in your timeline.
Why:
A file may:
Have been deleted from its original source
Failed to upload properly
Become corrupted
Be linked from an expired external URL
2️⃣ Replace or Re-Upload the Media
Action:
Re-upload missing files
Replace broken links
Remove unused or inaccessible media
Why:
Minvo can only render content that is fully accessible at the time of export.
3️⃣ Try Exporting Again
Action:
Once all invalid media has been addressed, click Export again.
Why:
The validation check will re-run and proceed normally if all files are valid.
💡 Pro Tips to Prevent Media Errors
Avoid using temporary or expiring external links.
Upload files directly to Minvo when possible.
Do not delete media from your device or cloud storage mid-project.
Perform a quick preview before exporting large projects.
