Minvo allows you to repurpose long videos into Shorts and add captions to enhance engagement. Follow these steps to make Shorts and ensure your captions are included.

1. Making Shorts from a Video

If you want to turn a long video into a Short, follow these steps:

  1. Select "Make Shorts from a Video"

    • This option allows you to trim your video into a shorter, shareable format.

  2. Adjust Your Clip

    • Trim the video to highlight key moments.

    • Ensure the final Short is under 10 minutes (Minvo’s export limit for Shorts).

  3. Export Your Short

    • Once satisfied, click Export to save your Short.

2. Adding Captions to a Short

If you want to add captions to your Short, follow these steps:

  1. Select "Caption a Short"

    • This option enables auto-generated captions for better accessibility and engagement.

  2. Ensure Video Length

    • The final video (after trimming) must be under 10 minutes to export from Minvo.

3. Exporting a Full-Length Video with Captions

If you’ve already chosen "Make Shorts from a Video" but still want to export the full video with captions, you can do this:

  1. Go to the "Transcript" Screen

    • Access the full video transcript in Minvo.

  2. Create a "New Short" Spanning the Entire Video

    • Select the entire transcript to include all content.

    • Ensure the final video is under 10 minutes to be exportable.
