If you have complicated video framing requirements when converting from 16:9 to other formats, Minvo is here to help.

Utilize presets matching shortcuts

In the Minvo timeline editor, you can split the video into segments. If you want to match the framing of the previous or next segment, click on the segment, then click "Match Next" or "Match Previous". If you want to match a segment that is not immediately before/after, rather one further, select "Match Next (+2)" or "Match Previous (-2)". This can help for situations where you made a section to quickly pan to something, but want to go back to the previous framing.

Use the built-in video effects

If you want to add visual movement, select a segment in the video editor (you can split it in the timeline) then select "Effects" at the top-right. You can add effects such as dynamic zooms, pop ins, pop outs, slow ins, and slow outs.

Pro Tip for Saving More Time

  • First, make all necessary cuts and set the desired frame or ‘view’ for each part of your video.

  • Go back and add video effects to emphasize key parts or moments.

With these advanced Minvo framing tips, your videos will be more engaging and visually appealing. Keep practicing to master these techniques and elevate your content.
