Adding video animations and filters can enhance your Shorts by making them more engaging and visually appealing. Minvo allows you to apply effects like Pop-in animations, black-and-white filters, and slow zooms to enhance your content.

Steps to Add Video Effects in Minvo

  1. Open Your Video in the Editor

    • Load your video in the Minvo video editor.

  2. Split the Video Where You Want the Effects

    • Use Ctrl + K (Windows) or Cmd + K (Mac) to split the video at the points where you want to apply effects.

    • This isolates sections of the video for targeted animations and filters.

  3. Select the Video Segment

    • Click on the video segment in the timeline where you want to add effects.

  4. Open the "Effects" Tab

    • In the right panel, click on the "Effects" tab.

  5. Apply an Animation

    • Choose from available animations, such as:

      • Pop In (great for grabbing attention at the start of a video)

      • Slow Zoom (subtle focus effect)

  6. Apply a Filter

    • Select a visual filter to enhance your video’s style, such as:

      • Black & White (for a dramatic look)

      • Sepia (for a vintage feel)

  7. Mix & Match Effects

    • Combine animations and filters to create a compelling visual story.

    • Experiment with different effects to increase engagement.

Why Use Video Effects?

Grab attention quickly with dynamic animations.
Enhance storytelling by changing the mood with filters.
Make your content stand out in a crowded feed.
