Conversations from le Chat are private by default, meaning that they are not visible to any other user, unless you decide to share them.
How to share a conversation
1. Open your conversation and click on the share button
First open the conversation you want to share. In the top-right corner of the page, you will notice a share button as shown in the image below.

2. Direct sharing vs. creating a link
You may choose your preferred method to share the conversation, either by clicking one of the direct sharing icons (1), or by creating a link to share it manually with anyone (2).
π As of today, you may share directly on X, LinkedIn, Reddit and WhatsApp, or via email.

3. Share your conversation
You may now proceed with the sharing process, which will typically open in a popup window, depending on the method you chose.
You may also copy the link again, to share it manually with anyone.

π The status of the conversation will now be updated to shared and a small orange circle will appear next to share button.

Important notes about shared conversations
When you share a conversation, you are not sharing the conversation itself, but rather a link to a cloned version of this conversation, to preserve the privacy of the original conversation's new messages.
π This means that the conversation you share is not the same as the one you are currently viewing and editing. You may continue to edit the original conversation without affecting the shared one, and vice versa.
In case you want to share the conversation again with updated content, you will need to create a new link and share it again following the process described above.
