The importing of a previously recorded video is only available when there are no grids recorded yet (button circled in red below). To keep Acapella as a live performance recording platform we wanted to allow users to only import something they previously recorded to begin adding more tracks. Once a video is imported or a grid is recorded the ability to add another previously recorded video to another grid is removed. The same applies to a collaboration video, since grids have been recorded already you cannot add a previously recorded video after you import it to collaborate
