You can only trim videos immediately after you record. After your record, scrub the timeline to the end and you will see the trimmer (see screenshot below). Once you exit this screen you will not be able to trim the video so it must be done after recording.

If you finished recording your project and need to trim the beginning or end of the video, we recommend you use a video editor like PicPlayPost to accomplish this.
