By the end of this guide, you'll have Moast up and running. Follow these simple steps to get started.
Remember, you can always ask for help by clicking the icon at the bottom right of the screen.
1. Add Media
In the Moast app, go to the Media section.
Click the Add Media button in the top right and choose how you want to upload.
Upload from device: Upload videos or images directly from your computer.
Import from Instagram: Import content from Instagram in two ways:
Instagram Handle URL: Paste your public Instagram profile URL to pull your 12 latest posts at once.
Reel URL: Paste the URL of a specific Instagram Reel.
Import from TikTok: Add videos by pasting a TikTok post URL.
Click 'Upload Media' to add your content to Moast.
📌 Tip: We recommend adding at least 5 videos to start!
2. Tag Products in Your Media
Now that your media is uploaded, you’ll need to tag products so shoppers can buy directly from your media.
Go to your Media Library and select a video or image you want to tag.
On the right side under 'Products', click 'Select products'
Choose the product you want to tag in your media and thats it!
📌 Tip: Tagging products is optional, but it’s what makes your media shoppable and helps boost conversions!

3. Add Moast to Your Store
Once your media is uploaded (tagged or untagged with products), it’s time to add Moast to your store.
If you haven’t added Moast to your site yet, you’ll see an Add App Block button at the top of your Moast admin home section.
Click the Add App Block button, and we’ll automatically add the Carousel Widget to your homepage.
Once it’s added, the step will be complete, and the button will disappear.
If you’d prefer to add the Moast widget manually:
Go to Online Store > Themes, then click Customize to open your Shopify theme editor.
Click Add Section and scroll to the Apps category.
Select a Moast Widget and place it where you want it to appear on your store. You can add multiple Moast widgets to different pages to maximize engagement.
📌 Note: You don’t need to tag products to add media to your store. You can showcase videos without product tags if you just want to display content!
