Product videos are a great way to enhance your product pages, but ensuring they display as intended may require configuration steps in Moast. This guide covers how to properly display product videos, troubleshoot visibility issues, and leverage advanced features like showing products on the video carousel.
1. Configuring Product-Specific Video Displays
To auto-display the correct video on each product page, follow these steps:
Tag each video with its corresponding product.
Add the Moast widget to your product page template.
Enable the “Show media dynamically” toggle in the widget settings.
Once you complete these steps, Moast will automatically pull the assigned video for the specific product being viewed. This ensures accurate video-to-product matching for each page.
2. Troubleshooting Video Display Visibility Issues
If your uploaded product video isn’t showing on the product page after syncing media, check the following:
Verify that the widget has been added to the product page template. - If the widget is only placed on the homepage, the video will appear there instead of the product page.
Add the widget to the correct product page template and assign this template to your product.
Following these steps ensures that the video is correctly linked to the product and appears on its respective page as intended.
3. Advanced: Displaying Products on Videos in Carousels
To show products directly on the video within the product page carousel, leverage the advanced options in Moast:
